General Summary

After purposely goading their dwarven escort the Five fingers of Dorwine managed to drive them off and slip into Allgringthveit unnoticed. There they decided to set about looking for the location of the geode mentioned in Wishart's Palimpsest. Alok Ravaralei, who had been following at a distance still had to enter the town and after a tense exchange at the gate he was forced to improvise. Telling the guard that there was a necromancer in Allgringthveit that had already committed heinous crimes in Darknook Alok gained a swift audience with Baron Falkrunn Rumnaheim. The rest of the party observed him go into the Baron's residence and, still in their guise of travelling circus folk, attempted to follow. Alok was, however, taken behind closed doors and quickly found that Bali had inveiged himself as the Baron's adviser. He was there in the room. Alok observed fear in the Baron's eyes - it seemed as if Bali had something over her. But he was unable to make headway as a lightning bolt from the necromancer rendered him unconscious. And swiftly imprisoned. The rest of the party discovered a huge, now empty, cavern adjacent to he town and may have found a magically locked door with the potential to get them beneath the Baron's residence, where they hope to find Alok's prison...
