General Summary

On a roadside, not far from the edge of the Plains of Thunder and 2 days ride from Marsahurst the Five Fingers of Dorwine successfully revive the dwarf they have rescued from the giant hyenas. He has stories and rumours for them about a large pack of gnolls plaguing the region. These gnolls, led by a white gnoll have become so aggressive that Marsahurst is practically a military camp. In trying to rescue the dwarf's horse the party spots a figure on the horizon who appears to be the same one following them a couple of days earlier. Finding the remains of the horse torn apart there is little appetite to stay out on the plains and the Five Fingers return to the road, finding a clearing for the night. Not long into the second watch of the evening Alok Ravaralei is attacked by a swift moving zombie that explodes. This heralds the arrival of the voice of Bali , taunting the party from out of the darkness. More zombies follow and the party is in the midst of a desperate fight. At that moment they come face to face with the undead instrument of Bali's vengeance - The Hunter...
