Barovian Lycanthropes can take multiple forms. Their animal form is representative of the animal their Lycanthropy stems from. Their humanoid form is indistinguishable from any other humanoid. Their hybrid form changes their humanoid form typically taking enchancing some of the humanoids abilities based on the strength or prowess of their specific variety of Lycanthropy.

The curse is typically spread via bites.

Growth Rate & Stages

There is an incubation time on the curse, however the effects of Lycanthropy will strengthen as the full moon approaches.

Behaviour

Lycanthropes can choose to resist or embrace their Lycanthropy. Those who resist may maintain a certain level of control, but are likely to lose control entirely at each full moon. Those whom embrace their Lycanthropy can train to harness it's abilities and typically proves to yeild better control even when under the effects of a full moon.
