Undead

Undead creatures exhibit signs of their prior life, but are most certainly have died previously. Undead creatures can be spectral in nature such as banshees, shadows, wraiths or physical in nature such as zombies or vampires.
Typically undead know whatever they knew in life if they maintained intellegence. Some undead become slavering monstrocities with no semblance of any prior intellegence and move solely on base instincts.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Non-corporeal undead typically have a glowing, semi-transparent visage. Though some such as shadows swing the other direction and are dark and opaque.
Corporeal undead such as zombies or vampires resemble the creatures they were in life at least at the start. Some undead continue to rot like zombies or may have nothing left to resemble beyond their bones such as skeletons.
