Necromancer

Kathoudo snarled under his breath. "Why?" Set asked turning to him. Kathoudo gestured around the sand that had engulfed the Palace of Ra saying, "When I first saw you I knew that you were born to kill, just look around at what you have done."The magical art of calling the dead back to the land of the living is practiced only by the necromancers who live in seclusion far away from the rest of the world since they are not trusted by most of society.
Career
Qualifications
In order to use this type of magic a caster needs to skilled in Conjuration the art of summoning or Restoration which requires in depth knowledge of the body.
Career Progression
Apprentices are usually picked from coven's children if there is a group of necromancers living together but since this is uncommon apprentices can always be kidnapped or convinced to learn this type of magic in other ways. Once the apprentice has a good grasp of calling the souls of the dead they can move on to their lair, form a coven with the master, or kill the master and be the sole caller of souls in the area. This is up to the appearance and what their master taught them about becoming a master in their own right.
Payment & Reimbursement
They can be paid in cash or with valuable trinkets if they live in an area where digital transactions have been developed they will still prefer to be paid in something physical. Some people have even negotiated to be an apprentice in exchange for the necromancer's services.
Other Benefits
People often well to have more time with their dead loved ones since regret is more powerful than love, but if its an army of the dead that a person is after of course it won't be cheap since it costs a lot of magic to summon that many dead people.
Perception
Purpose
They can summon the dead so if there is something that you want to tell a dead person or they did not finish imparting important information to you before they died a necromancer and call their souls back to the land of the living for such conversations to take place. They can also summon the mindless undead as guards, army, or any other reason why someone wants a zombie-like creature roaming around. They can also cast powerful spells on graves that prevent the bodies from being raised.

They can raise the dead to serve as armies, bring closure with final goodbyes, and prevent the dead from being raised mindlessly.
Dangers & Hazards
People tend not understanding the unknown and can be fearful of those who practice this type of magic even if they are well-meaning and want to help bring closure and ensure the dead cannot become zombies. Many a necromance has lost their lives due to people either being afraid of them and what they can do or because they were doing something wrong like raising an undead army.
