The Settling of Skola Vale Village

In the year -11,000 KC, an archfey named Narsus, a devout follower of Tharizdun, discovered a lost temple in the jungles of Kampos deep in the Dark Rainforest. He sought to perform a ritual that he believed would tie the Shadowfell, Feywild, and Prime Material Plane together, corrupting everything in its path.   However, his efforts were stopped by the adventuring band Meklan's Marauders, who arrived on their flying ship. A battle ensued, and in the end Narsus was vanquished. He was turned into a gigantic rock statue, which lay on the ground where he fell. The earth swallowed the temple and hid it below, along with the airship, in a wide open cavern of the Underdark hidden by magic.   The area above became a nexus with the Feywild, and the area of Skola Vale was established. This is an area that exists both in the Prime Material Plane and the Feywild, and it is protected by the Elder of the Dawngreets, an archfey who was created specifically for this purpose.
