Personal history
Hailing from a small village in the Borough of Cymru, as a child she spent most of her time in the forest foraging for wild mushrooms. One of the residents returned from an adventure to the Kingdom of Aerey one day with a great many elvish delicacies, including some wild tropical mushrooms. Completely enamored with these foreign mushrooms, she decided to become an adventurer and seek out mushrooms from all over the world.
Early in her travels, she came to Bonna, where she met a naturalist who had just returned from an expedition studying the mosses of the Mynyss Mountains. The naturalist convinced her to visit the university library to see the catalogues of plants and animals. She remained at the university as a student, and quickly proved herself very capable on field research. She had a particular knack for talking to the locals about their regional plants, and began her collection of exceptionally detailed notes on regional mushrooms and their uses.
She eventually became a full professor at the university, teaching and researching both anthropology and botany. Her research took her all around the continent, always with a keen focus on fungi. Her compiled notes eventually became her famous book, which is popular in academic, culinary, apothecary, and survival circles.
