Vintiz River Basin
More well-known these days for the blood than it is for sustaining villages and population.
The Vintiz River Basin is more than just a warfront. It supplies the freshwater for Wall Before the Tide as well as a large number of small settlements along its banks. Serving as a natural barrier along three separate borders, it has occasionally turned (and is currently) quite bloody.
The banks of the waters are host to small game, but also a large seasonal population of deer migrating from Nock Arrow, Let Fly Forest. Over years, the animals learned to stay on the southern side of the river because Kaokut does not limit hunting at all whereas the Al'Orphic Alliance strictly regulates hunters year-round. Occasionally, an Old Duranth resident crosses and kills an animal on the far side, which stirs a respectful, if heated, discussion between the local governments of the two nations. Otherwise, the region is a popular destination for fishing.
