I wonder if Kaokutians don't use magic in warfare because they don't grow chitin wheat or vice versa?

Unlike its neighbors, the Kaokut Coalition subsists far less on wheat and grain, preferring various root vegetables and rice. Simply named, the Growing Plains provide the sustenance for western Kaokut, though the Aemark Kingdom has expanded too close to the western fields for comfort, forcing Kaokut farming expansion in the eastern fields.
