Edge of the Rifts is a combination military and research development that has grown into a full-fledged city. The namesake of Edge of the Rifts relates to the Al'Orphic term for aether vents (that is, 'rifts'). The extensive aether network built between Edge of the Rifts and First Among the Last is the largest in eastern Turan.
