Angel Gem
Qualifications
Through a combined report of client experiences and attendant peer-reviews, the Angel Gem is a title that is given through collective agreement that the attendant receiving it not only makes each client feel welcome and cared for but also fosters a positive environment for everyone in the Chalice. Generally the title is given to well known, experienced and talented attendants.
Requirements
The Angel Gem need only to have been an attendant in The Jeweled Chalice for one year to be eligible for the title, the time requirement helps eliminate those who earn the favor of the clients solely due to their novelty.
Appointment
Usually the older attendants will collect the client surveys which are voluntarily completed after a guest has completed their stay at the Chalice and compare them to internal nominations before finally presenting the most celebrated attendant with the title. The title is generally bestowed upon its new holder by the attendant that is personally closest to the new Angel Gem during a rest period when the business is temporary closed for maintenance and relaxation for the attendants.
Duties
The Angel Gem usually sees an increase in client appointments after receiving the title as it is a considered a major treat to be able to spend time with them. It is also generally expected that the Angel Gem will assist in supporting and training new attendants as they learn about working at the Chalice. They are also expected to make an effort to generally enhance the environment of the chalice in their own unique way.
Benefits
Wages of the Angel Gem are approved to a 50% increase over the attendant's base rate while they hold the title.
Accoutrements & Equipment
The Angel Gem, upon appointment, is given a jeweled forehead tiara that they can choose to wear when desired.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
Should the currently appointed attendant commit an act that is considered communally deplorable by the rest of the Chalice attendants, the title can be removes through a vote.
