Miss Major
Zauna Oluebube Adeoye (a.k.a. Miss Major)
"I ride the lighting, roll with the thunder,
I'm goin' down, down, down,
With my sisters and brothers,
I fell in love with the darkest parts,
Standing on the side of the wild at heart."
- Halestorm, "I Like It Heavy"

Book 3: Midnight
“Glowstick!” Miss Major shouted back, grabbing onto the bars of her cell. She laughed, and started to rattle them. “I knew it! I knew you’d come for us! Slipstream, you owe me a hundred quid!”In Midnight, Miss Major is introduced alongside her long time friend and coworker, Slipstream. They first join The Demigods on their investigations in Wales, where she and Slipstream find out the location of Owen Craddock by using a phone book and calling the numbers. She proves herself as a competent investigator and fighter as they pursue several leads, and develops a romantic interest quickly in Phoenix Flare. She accompanies Phoenix to RUNdown garage to get a Conduit made for her, but the two have an argument that hits a nerve and makes Miss Major frustrated.
“Don’t say that in front of her!” Slipstream called from the opposite cell, and gave a sheepish smile when Phoenix looked at her.
Miss Major and Slipstream go MIA after The Trade, but are found later on in the ASIMOV research facility by Phoenix. They aid the Demigods in destroying the Pulse Machine, and Miss Major invites them to live with her and with Slipstream after the Demigods are fired from SunGod.

Quotes & Catchphrases
“Well, you might just be in luck. Prisons may not let your average Joe or Angie in, but they won’t turn away a lawyer,” Miss Major said, smugly. After receiving queried looks from the others, her shoulders sagged. “I went to law school.”

Character Prototype
Miss Major had a small part in the original canon, and didn't really fit into the story- I decided to make her a recurring character partnered with Slipstream to give her a new life.
