Agnes has naturally red hair and freckles, which is particularly noticeable with her darker skin tone.
Special abilities
Agnes was born with the ability to fly, mastering her power at the age of fourteen. Supplemental to this, she is immune to G-forces and can breathe perfectly well in thin atmospheres and survive up to an hour without oxygen. After flying in close proximity to the Southern Lights, she gained the ability to temporarily transform day into night in a localised area, and produce ‘ion beams’ of charged particles from the air which can instantly vaporise some materials and damage many more.

Agnes’s family consists of her mothers Sarah and Kate, and her younger sister Beth. They live in Australia, and Agnes is in frequent contact with them. Beth named Agnes’s superhero identity ‘Shadowstar’ and designed her costume.

Agnes often calls Beth 'Duckling', in reference to their mothers' nickname of 'Hook-a-Duck' and Beth being the baby of the family (and biologically the daughter of 'Duck'). In response, Beth sometimes teasingly calls Agnes 'Hooker' (also because her mum is 'Hook').
Agnes and Beth also sometimes call each other 'Bethy-K' and 'Aggie-T', which were nicknames given to them by their mothers as babies.
