German Frontier Military Province

The German Frontier Military Province is unsurprisingly comprised of the inland western frontier French territories. It represents the interface between civil and military authority in the region.

Unless the regiments are at the Front (or deployed in another province), the Military Governor has the authority to issue orders to the units within his district (this applies to units quartered elsewhere, unless under Royal or military orders).

The purpose of Military Governors is to maintain the peace and defend against rebellion or invasion.

Please Note: These comments are simple flavor for the Basic Rules. They will come into play in greater detail in the Advanced Rules.
