Dojima Daigo
Daigo Dojima, Sixth Chairman of the Tojo Clan
Daigo is the son of Dojima Sohei, Patriarch of the Dojima Family, and Dojima Yayoi, a Dragon imprisoned in human form by Sohei.
He was formerly a member of the Dojima and later Kazama Families, before becoming the Sixth Chairman of the Tojo Clan.
He is close to Kiryu Kazuma, who would often be given the task of watching him, in part because his mother wished him to spent time around Ryuki. With the exception of the period when Kiryu was in prison, he has been a mentor and the main father-figure in Daigo's life, since his father was a cruel and distant man.

Personal history
Daigo is the only offspring of Dojima Sohei and the Dragon he forced to become his unwilling bride, Dojima Yayoi.
He had a lonely childhood: his father was a cruel and distant man, who was seemingly revolted by his son's inhuman nature. Yayoi, though a devoted mother, was deeply mired in her own trauma and misery, and approached motherhood with the formality of a royal court. He struggled to make friends at school, due both to his own lack of social skills and the need to hide his true nature, and because other children were warned by their parents to keep away from the son of a notorious Yakuza.
One of his closest bonds was to Kiryu Kazuma and Ryuki, who Yayoi conspired to have be his regular bodyguard, in order that Daigo would have some connection to his draconic heritage. Kiryu became his mentor, and the closest thing Daigo had to a true father figure.
He was therefor deeply emotionally affected when Kiryu admitted to the murder of Sohei, and was jailed for it. Daigo became an intensely angry and violent man, and began using alcohol and narcotics heavily. During this period, he decides to move against the Omi Alliance, and challenges Goda Ryuji to a one-on-one fight. However, when he arrives, he finds it is a set-up, and he is arrested, going on to spend five years in prison.
On his release, he returns in large part to his former hedonistic lifestyle, although he is forced to be more involved with Tojo Clan issues than he would prefer due to his mother having been named Chairman the previous year.
After the attempted assassination of Yayoi by the Go-Ryu Clan, he was entrusted by her with taking a proposed peace treaty to Omi HQ. However, when the Go-Ryu staged a coup, he saved the Omi Chairman only for them both to be overpowered and kidnapped by the Jingweon Mafia while leaving Osaka.
After being rescued by Kiryu, Sayama Kaoru, and Nishikiyama Akira, he fought with the Clan in the battles that followed, and was present for the showdown attop Kamurocho Hills. He saved the lives of his earstwhile rescuers when he destroyed a bomb which had been placed at the base of the tower before it could detonate.
As his mother had been finally freed from her captivity by the actions of Terada Yukio, Daigo was named her successor, becoming the sixth Chairman of the Tojo Clan with the support of Majima Goro, who was made Tojo Chief Advisor, and Nishikiyama, who became the new Tojo Clan Captain.

Sexuality
Daigo is aro-ace, although he would not use the label. He is sex-favourable, and has a reasonably active sex-life, but did not feel the loss while he was in prison. He has had a few sexual encounters with men, and has no strong preferences with regards to his partners' gender, but due to the culture of the Yakuza being somewhat hostile to queer people, he primarily sleeps with women.
Education
Daigo attended good schools, but was not a particularly dedicated student, as he knew he would be going into the Yakuza. He was expelled shortly before completing high school, and spent a short stint in juvie.
Employment
He has only ever worked as a Yakuza.
Taboos
Daigo was raised to regard his draconic heritage and abilities as taboo, and is only now beginning to work through his hang-ups and accept that part of himself.
Social
Contacts & Relations
Although initially deeply distrustful of him, due to his murder of Sera Masaru and collusion with Jingu Kyohei, Daigo comes to respect Nishikiyama Akira after fighting alongside him, even saving his life, and he eventually makes him his Tojo Clan Captain.
He is wary of Majima, due to his unpredictability, but respects his skills, and trusts Kiryu's assertions that he is a better man than he appears to be.
