Geldenstag's Rest
Geldenstag's Rest is known as the oldest inn in Bryn Shander - having stood in the same place since 1233, only three years after Bryn Shander was officially founded. At first it served as a place for weary travelers and the merchants who came from all across Ten-Towns to sell their wares at the marketplace of Bryn Shander, and soon the establishment grew in size. Above its yellow-painted front doors hangs a wooden sign of a sleeping stag.
After the skirmishes in 1300s, the inn was sold to the halfling family of Barleywoods, who have been running the inn to this day. Its current proprietor, Myrtle Barleywood, is known for her warm, but nosy attitude.
