Andy has met someone who sees him as more than just a machine. Sandra Bradshaw understands his nature and, rather than forcing human expectations onto him, simply values him for who he is. Whether Andy is capable of love remains uncertain, but if he were, this might be the person who could show him how. Sandra is a member of the Farmer's Guild and only comes by the Engineers' workshop to see Andy.
