Silver Archipelago
Geography
The Silver Archipelago sits at the edge of the the Twilight Sea, acting as a border to the massive sea. The sea lies to the southwest, and on the opposite side, the northeast, lies Darta and the rest of the continent.
Out of the many, many islands in the archipelago, the biggest one is called Haula Phergo. This is where the capital is placed, and it lies on the northwestern part among the islands. There is one island called Andiver Phergo, which has a village called Lucillvi.
The waters between the Silver Archipelago and the continent are wild. You should be an experienced seafarer to pass some specific parts of the sea, but there are open trade routes and regularly traveled paths that anyone can go by. The trade route from Orebo to Haula Phergo goes south along the shore from Orebo, and then turns west at the top of the archipelago. Going in a straight line between Orebo and Haula Phergo is too dangerous, as it leaves you on the open sea.
The islands themselves are mostly covered in lush forests brimming with life. It is humid and warm most of the year, and the flora and fauna have adapted well for this place. All the islands have access to fresh water; many of them have hilltops/mountains where rainfall collects and runs down out into the sea, and some of the smaller islands that don't have as much running water instead take from below the ground.
History
The Silver archipelago have long been a socially calm area, with few wars/big fights and the people on the islands are a cooperative people, willing to help their neighbours in times of need.
Storms blowing in from the Twilight sea can cause damage to the societies and nature on the islands, and they ome in periods of around 7-10 years. It can happen that a magical strom hits the islands. As it is hard to percieve the storm hitting, there is not much you can do in preparation, but the islanders try.
