The Viper Pool

The Viper Pool is a very prominent tavern off the center town circle of Aladekh Zair.  It is so named accurately as the central feature of the tavern is a watery pit of vipers, protected by gangways and wooden railings, the floor of the tavern being suspended above the central pool.  
The drink of attraction is The Viper's Bite, a very potent cocktail mixed with a choice of alcohol, injected with the 'house venom' from the special breed of snakes, and an unborn, freshly cracked snake body is placed in the bottom of the drink for flavor and style.  It is a very busy tourist location from those at port in the city, but is also a favorite of the locals and as such is usually packed.
The proprietor is one telmatra named Zufar, who seems to be a fanatic of cross breeding snakes and other reptiles.
