Aladekh Zair
Aladekh Zair is one of the most prominent cities with Myr Soriah.
Excerpt:
"As you gaze over the bow of the ship you see in the distance the magnificence of Aladek Zair. Dusk has fully set in and so the lights from the shoreline city flicker, namely two prominent ones coming from the eyes of a figurine on the southern shore. A massive carved figure of a tusked mammoth raised up on it's back haunches towers over the port of the city. A dark briny stone color, reared up on it's haunches, it's front two legs juxtaposed in height. The tusks extending outwards as fierce warnings to all those who approach the city from the sea. It's head, ornately carved and decorated with an armored covering. This man-made wonder towers several hundred feet in height and even though you are still several miles away in the sea, it is by far the most impressive sight on this approach to Aladek Zair.
As time passes as the ship draws closer to the port city, more details emerge. The port itself is protected by a walled quay, the only entrance sailing under the belly of the mammoth beast. The details of the city behind it begin to emerge. A densely populated city most of the prominence being built upon rising cliffs and plateaus. See picture. Amongs the lower parts of the city it looks like spotted flickering of lights scatter the city, like small fires spread out among the districts and buildings. It gives the entire city a feeling of a hellish orange glow. Steam or smoke drifts from each of these points of light all moving one direction to the east. It is then as you're approaching the port, and the mammoth wonder ahead, that scent begins to hit you. A rich, spicy and overpowering smell of incense. It's a mixture of amber, sandalwood, and cinnamon. A smoky spice that pricks the inside of your nostrils, but is enticing nonetheless. It is just now that the Flaming Serpent is approaching the belly of the mammoth to enter the secured port of the city. Welcome to Aladekh Zair."
