(date is subject to change) The War of the Sands is somewhat of a misnomer, as it was actually over a dozen smaller wars that took place over the course of two hundred years between Caer Thalion and Zarglÿf. The name came from the location of most of the fighting, which was the northern half of the Y'dak.
