Senhold is a newly built Dwarvish Hold with a larger rural and loosely housed area surrounding it. It's mostly known for food production.

Demographics

Central Senhold is populated by regular citizen, however the large outskirts mostly contain Farmers and Brewers.

Government

The Lords of Senhold usually hold larger amounts of land, due to the abundance of loosely lived territory belonging to Senhold. Because of this, they play a stronger political role than expected, and there is no important decision that goes through without a meeting with the Lords.

The Hold
A Dwarvish Hold that contains most infrastructure such as the keep, taverns, smithies, and etc.
The Outskirts
The outskirts are lands where various food and drinking sources are either grown or produced. There are houses in the outskirts too, getting less dense the further away you go from the hold.

Guilds and Factions

Black Farmers Gang are known to smuggle goods between the Black Market of Barrek and Senhold.

History

Senhold was originally an outpost and resting place for armies due to this place being smack between both the capitals of Gau Dwarovar and Haer'in. It has changed hands between Haer'in and Gau Dwarovar a few times since, and has thus slowly earned the title of being a rather important strategic location. Especially so after the Portal of Dwarovar - Senhold was built.

Points of interest

The markets of Senhold can hold many different goods, Elvish, Dwarvish, and Underdark stuff - due to being a three-way intersection between Gau Dwarovar, Haer'in, and the Underdark through the Portal of Dwarovar - Senhold.
