Basic Information
Anatomie
The Devils have an imposing anatomy. They are tall and muscular, yet have a rather wiry build. Their bodies are strong and well proportioned, which emphasises their physical superiority over the other demon races. They have huge horns on their heads, which can vary in shape and size. These are a sign of their power and are seen as a symbol of dominance. Devils are equipped with powerful wings that give them the ability to fly. These are also used both offensively and defensively in battle and are also an important part of their shape-shifting. They enclose themselves in their wings and channel their powers to change their body. Instead of normal feet, devils have hooves that are both aesthetic and functional. These hooves give them an added menace and are useful in battle. They have sharp claws on their hands, which serve as dangerous melee weapons and can be magically enhanced. They have two different body forms, called Doomreaver and Bloodreaver, which they can change back and forth between. The Doomreaver is slimmer, more graceful, less muscular and smaller than the Bloodreaver. In this form, the Devils' magical abilities are greatly enhanced. Their wings and horns pulsate with magical energies and change colour depending on the type of magic they cast. The Bloodreaver, on the other hand, is larger, stronger and more robust than its counterpart. It is more resistant and partially immune to magic. This immunity also largely prevents them from casting their own spells and magical abilities. Its claws are much more pronounced and murderous.
Genetik und Vermehrung
The reproduction of Devils differs fundamentally from that of the other demons in the realm of Kagdranoth. Unlike the other demon races, they do not use the Incubarium to reproduce. Although Devils can do this in the conventional way, the amount of life energy required is so immense that it is almost impossible to achieve. Instead, their life energy is automatically transferred to their personal breeding ground after their death, where they are then reborn.

Devils feel particularly at home in environments with extreme heat. They therefore deliberately seek out active volcanoes, which not only provide a constant source of intense heat, but also create ideal conditions for their fire magic. The glowing lava and smoke-filled atmosphere creates a dark and menacing backdrop that appeals to the Devils. For this reason, they regard the Black Lands as their favoured domain, as they are not only home to numerous active volcanoes, but are also criss-crossed by rivers of glowing lava.
Ernährung und Gewohnheiten
As Devils are theoretically immortal, they actively go on the hunt and, despite the dangers, are particularly keen to take part in major battles between the citadels. These provide the best opportunities to maximise their life energy gain. They also consume the Sanguinara potion produced by the Rostramids. This provides the Devils with a concentrated and amplified form of life energy that further strengthens their immense powers.
Behaviour
There is deep mistrust among the various Devils, based on thousands of years of feuding. Since the subjugation of the other demon races and the establishment of the great citadels, a constant power struggle has raged between the various devil factions, creating a deep rift between them. This rift is rarely bridged, usually only when they face an external threat or wish to subjugate other races and regions. When they clash with each other, anger and hatred fill the encounters, which often only end when one of the opponents is dead. The devils have an extremely arrogant and domineering attitude towards the other demon races. They regard them first and foremost as a tool and means to an end in order to win the eternal power struggle between the devils. Conscious of their superiority and based on the law of the strongest, they see themselves as the legitimate rulers of the Black Lands. Devils are characterised by a thoughtful and, for demons, calm nature. As a rule, they are rather composed and tend to hold back their emotions. Nevertheless, there is an impulsive side to their personality, which they cleverly conceal behind their facial expressions and behaviour. These impulsive outbursts are rare, but occur in an explosive manner, especially when confronted by other devils, when they are extremely angry or involved in a fight.

The social structure of the Devils is characterised by a permanent power struggle and a deep base of mistrust. There is a constant rivalry between the various factions and the individual Devils, based on feuds that go back thousands of years. These enmities often date back to the time when the Devils subjugated the other demon races and built the citadels. They are in constant competition with each other for supremacy in the Black Lands. These internal struggles lead to a strong hierarchy in which the strongest and most powerful Devils lead the various factions. In personal conflicts, meetings with other Devils often only end when one of them falls in battle.
Gesichtszüge
The faces of the Devils are a mixture of power, fiery anger and cool sophistication. They have striking facial features that are comparatively slender for their height and mass. Gigantic horns sit atop their skulls and their eyes blaze with a hellish fire that feels like it burns into your mind when you look at them. Their facial expressions show coolness and deliberation, in stark contrast to the passionate flames in their eyes. The Devils give the impression of controlled intelligence and as if they are always in a state of deliberation or silently making plans. In battle, their faces contort into a mask of pure rage and the fury in their eyes spreads across their entire face. It seems as if the Devils skilfully conceal their true nature behind the mask of their facial expressions and only their eyes offer a glimpse of their true selves. The essence of their true existence lies in those fiery gazes, while their facial features form an opaque shell that skilfully conceals their innermost thoughts and feelings. The Devils' eyes act as a window to their unveiled, powerful soul, while the rest of their face retains a mysterious aura. Their powerful jaws are set with a carefully arranged formation of pointed, jagged teeth that protrude from their mouths like dangerous weapons.

Devils are blessed with extraordinary intelligence. Their sharp and quick minds enable them to devise complex plans and develop effective tactics. Their ability to smell emotions makes it easier for them to quickly see through other demons and creatures. This outstanding intellect makes them excellent manipulators who can skilfully win others over to their own ends. Despite their arrogance, they value the advice of other demons and recognise the importance of solutions that they themselves may have overlooked. In addition to their intelligence, devils are characterised by a strong hunting instinct, which is an invaluable advantage in combat. They are able to quickly understand the body language of their enemies and draw conclusions about their behaviour and attack patterns.

The Devils' sense of hearing is also above average. They can perceive the finest nuances of sound and have a keen sense for noises. They are also able to detect magical vibrations and energy flows acoustically. The devils' sense of smell goes far beyond the mere perception of physical odours. They are able to perceive emotions and magic in the form of scents. Through their magic, devils also have the ability to sense their surroundings. For example, they can perceive energy flows, recognise magical barriers and sense the presence of other magical entities.

Their position as the strongest and most powerful demons ensures them not only physical superiority, but also strategic dominance. Each Devil leads one of the major factions that emerged after the subjugation of the other demon races. These factions are located in the various citadels of the realm and serve as centres of power. The Devils monitor and control the factions, waging their own power struggle amongst themselves. They are in a permanent power struggle with each other. Their feuds and intrigues extend over thousands of years and characterise the political landscape of the Black Lands. Each of them tries to strengthen their own faction and weaken the others in order to ultimately gain unrestricted control over the demon realm.
Sprachgruppen und Dialekte
The Devils mainly speak standard demonic, which serves as the general demonic language. If they need to speak in other demonic languages, they let the Beholders translate for them. They also speak the Devils' own language. However, they only use it when they meet other Devils or when they talk to themselves.

The average height of the Doomreaver is between 3.20 and 3.50 metres and that of the Bloodreaver between 3.80 and 4.10 metres.

The average weight of the Doomreaver is between 600 and 700kg and that of the Bloodreaver between 800 and 900kg.
Hautfarbe, Bemalung und andere Markierungen
The skin of the Devils has a deep red, leathery and scaly texture. These scales not only give their skin a robust structure, but also a certain elegance. This scaly surface is covered with demonic runes in a complex pattern that is unique to devils. These runes are not only ornamental in nature, but also carry a magical meaning. They are able to amplify the Devils' fire, shadow and blood magic and are therefore a manifestation of their supernatural abilities.
