Cult of The Web

While the populace of The Dawning Empire choose to worship The Avanís Pantheon in many ways, some more eccentric types choose to worship the Gods in their alternate forms.
The Arbiter has many such forms, and one small clergy that has appeared in recent times across the Empire particularly reveres the Arbiter in their spider form - a giant 8-legged creature whose webs of truth glint off of morning dew.
The Cult of the Web as they have been called believe that the Arbiter's will extends far beyond the powers of the natural world and that they are in fact the Broodmother for all life in Daënfel. The Broodmother's web links all beings together, and the strings of fate have been woven in her many-eyed wisdom centuries before the events play out in this world.
This notion is generally spurned and dismissed by the populace. The followers of the cult remain mostly in hiding, as while their worship is not illegal it is frowned upon by most of civilization.
