Avalon, The Lost City

The seat of Avlar and his kingdom of the same name, the Lost City is where the God-King was raised and from where he set out to claim dominion over the lands.
What was once the greatest city in Daënfel - spiral towers and high walls adorned with the flapping banners of the speckled Gryphon - Avalon is now a husk of its former self. The city has been shrouded in mist and fog, since the mysterious destruction that befell the city and its inhabitants at the end of Avlar's conquest. Whatever happened to the city's populace no one knows, but the extensive ruins are now overrun with monsters of fearsome varieties.
The Founding Fathers of Trinity regularly send treasure hunters and adventuring parties on dangerous expeditions into the ruins to retrieve artifacts from the great city, however few else are foolhardy enough to venture past its shores.
