Minor Gods

Born from the sheer power of human belief, the minor gods were created one by one in the aftermath of the Crafting as the distance between the Elder Gods and their worshippers stretched wide. While some rule in tandem with the Dhaphén, supporting their values and helping to fill the gaps of their absence, others work against them, seeking ruin in their wake. They are as varied as human imagination. Only the Seiric peoples understand that the minor gods are in fact their own human ancestors, a belief which is regarded as the Seiric Heresy by Eidolic peoples.

The minor gods are referred to by different names in each of the disparate clans. The Solari prefered the term lares, the Cairenian use loa, the Ferelians saints, the Kielish navka, the Kawanese kami, the Narvese wali, the Simerians dísir, the Skols norns, the Maodi shén, the Edic daimons, the Logali devas, the T'zanish kachina, the Cymanche dhia, and the Khuit tengri.
