Ferilian Forest
Ferilian Forest, also called the Emerald Ocean or The Land of Perpetual Spring, is an old-growth forest located on the southern border of the Bohemian Republic. It is considered to be one of the most beautiful places in the country and some even go as far to as referencing to it as the natural wonder of the world. It has become a popular tourist destination as of late, for the rich and wild-hearted folk, as the perfect place to get lost in, because the temperature there is so mild and the soil is so fertile you are always stumbling upon some kind of food, be it berries or mushrooms or roots and the like. Apart from that, the forest is considered to be a very sacred place to dryads and other woodland creatures and holds a special significance to magicians and herbologists, because of its biodiversity.
It's impossible to make fire here. Doesn't matter if you are trying to make a little campfire or just light a cigarette, the flame will immediatelly snuff itself out, the sparks will never ignite anything no matter how dry. Guns tend to misfunction here, so this is not particularly popular hunting spot.
Geography
Dryad Graveyard
One of the reason why this is such a fertile and mesmerisingly beautiful piece of a land is the fact that this is a dryad graveyard. When dryads get really, really old, they became more and more sleepy and they start to hear the old forest's song. Once the comforting sound of thousands of leaves whispering to them their sweet lullaby gets so strong they cannot focus on anything else, they will instinctively go towards the forest to take a little nap. And that's how they end.White Grove
Deep in the eastern side of the forest, there is a little grove known for the various white-blooming flowers that grow there all year round. There is also a tiny spring and it is said its water has some minor healing properties, especially for treating soar throat or otherwise damaged voice.Blue Standing Stones
These stones are considered to be a part of a larger prehistoric monument that served religious purpouses either as a sacrifical ground or a place where trials took place. There are 9 stones still standing and they are named after their vaguely blue sheen. There are also simple markings near the ground on each of the stone, but those haven't been deciphered yet. Their origin is presumed to be human as the markings do not resemble anything dryad and have no magical aura.Mud Baths
This is a common name for the dwelling of earth elementals. They can be found pretty much anywhere in the forest near a water source, be it stream or spring or sometimes even just a really big puddle after it rains. These elemental creatures tend to be very playful once they make sure that whatever is approaching them poses no threat (which is a lot of things because mud and earth isn't particularly tasty to local animals) and as such can be frequently found playing with little boar piglets for example.
