Gadof Blinksy

Gadof Blinksy is the propietor and sole employee of Blinksy Toys in Vallaki . He is a large human but an oddity in Barovia, a man who seems to have an abundant amount of honest good cheer, a cheer he wishes to convey to children through the toys he makes for them. He is frequently found in his shop working on his next toy, jester cap sitting jauntily atop his head.
However, he is not a very good toymaker, as his toys are rather macabre and are more likely to scare children than entertain them. Such as...

• A headless doll that comes with a sack of attachable heads, including one with its eyes and mouth stitched shut
• A miniature gallows, complete with trapdoor and a weighted “hanged man” that resembles
• A set of wooden nesting dolls; the smaller each one gets, the older it gets, until the innermost doll is a mummified corpse
• A wood-and-string mobile of hanging bats with flapping wings
• A wind-up musical merry-go-round with figures of snarling wolves chasing children in place of prancing horses
• A ventriloquist’s dummy that looks like Strahd von Zarovich

His business would normally have failed, but he does enjoy the patronage of Baron Vargas Vallakovich who pays him to make decorations for the festivals. Blinksy is a great believer in the baron's ideas that happiness is the key to Vallaki's salvation and is more than happy to assist the baron with his festivals.
The party found him in his shop when they were investigating the Ireena Kolyana doll they had found. Blinksy told them that Izek Strazni requires him to make one doll a month for him, but knows no more than that. Blinksy also asked the party to bring him a clockwork man toy if they ever come across one, as it was made by an inventor he fervently admires.
Blinksy has a monkey companion named Piccolo. Apparently a man named Rictavio recently came in the shop and thought Blinksy had more need of a companion than himself. When later asked by the party Rictavio would state he did so because he thought it would help keep Blinksy's spirits up.
