Gumpillar

Description

Gumpillars are common Crytures that reside in woodlands of The Vivid Vale and surrounding regions. They spend most of their time in the trees, munching on whatever fruit they can find, in preparation for metamorphosis. Most of the time, Gumpillars keep to themselves, but they become aggressive if they feel even slightly threatened. In these situations, they use trumpet-like cries to both scare off predators, and warn other nearby Gumpillars of danger.

Combat

Gumpillars are generally weak combatants, but they make up for their lack of raw power with blast attacks and control effects. A gumpillar prefers to stay away from the front lines to deal out crippling effects and modify the terrain to its allies' advantage. It will use its climbing ability to stay out of melee reach whenever possible, usually by climbing up a tree and attacking from there.
