Gumbo

Description

Gumbos are mischievous little crytures that spend their time flitting about the forests, snacking on fruit in between teasing other crytures. When they first metamorphose, a Gumbo will stay around and protect the family of Gumpillars that fed it while it was a Gumpod. Once another Gumpod achieves metamorphosis, it will go off on its own, leaving the new Gumbo to protect the family.

Combat

A Gumbo uses its mobility to skirt the battlefield, peppering its enemies with ranged and blast attacks. It doesn’t mind being in the thick of things, due to its high Health and good defenses, but prefers to stay behind an ally whenever possible. If protecting a family of Gumpillars, they'll do their best to take some extra hits anyway, to keep their younger family members from harm.

• This cryture can Concentrate to force opposing wild crytures to make a morale check.

Levitation IV

• This cryture takes no movement penalties from terrain.
• This cryture can ascend vertically with no height limit and move through the air at its normal speed.
