Culture

Major language groups and dialects

The main language used by Dunren is halfling, though most of Cresteria shares the common language.

Art & Architecture

Most halfling structures are made with wood, as it is easily workable. Though it is not uncommon for brickwork to be used in certain situations such as ovens and foundations. The majority of Dunren homes are made with simple wattle and daub with thatch roofing, the style needs quite a bit of maintenance but it is not too difficult to construct.

Ideals

Gender Ideals

In most of the Halfling families, the oldest male is usually the most important. However, depending on some family traditions, other members of the family may be of importance. It is normal for the oldest son to inherit the land after their father dies, it would then be his duty to continue working the land, and to have a son so that the land may then pass to him.
