Personal history
Shamath was born in the Isles of Eamit, an archipelagic nation on Nodum, the namesake planet of the Nodum System, in 2959 BFP. His parents are unknown and presumed to have died early in his life. He is first listed as "Excedyn" (Nod-Typical for Clanless) in his 2941 work application with the Bolus Company.
He and 9 other young miners who had grown jaded to their work conditions and, during the early months of 2936 BFP fled Bolus-1 on board a BCEF-e they had stolen from their assigned mine, losing 2 conspirators in the heist. Over the following 2 decades, his crew grew in size, ferocity and fame. After boarding and commandeering the Oppoeko-Class Gunboat EB-19091 in 2932, it was modified and renamed Tel Gyoospeale, which became the flagship and namesake for the Stone Devil Corsairs.
Shamath contracted Olthotez Lung after decades of exposure to the toxic dust created as a byproduct of Helium-3 mining. He succumbed to the disease in 2899, leaving his son and 1st Mate, Shamath, Telexce, to become the next Corsair Lord of the Stone Devils.
