Geography
Eakrix
Eakrix is the single supercontinent of Nodum. The large landmass makes up the entire western hemisphere of the planet, and stretches from global north to south. A mountain range, the Spine of Kamich, crosses from East to West through the very centre of Eakrix, surrounded by the Tau'um Kamich. The rest of the continent was mostly woodlands and coastal grasslands, with the exception of a second, smaller desert in the south, Tau'um Sheeum. After the Battle of Nodum, a majority of Eakrix was turned into a scorched desert, and the highest points of Spine of Kamich were destroyed by low-orbit bombardments.Isles of Eamit
A series of 4 large islands and half a dozen smaller ones off the southwest coast of Eakrix, the Isles of Eamit are the only other populated lands on Nodum. The 4 main islands are densely populated and highly industrialized by 3011 BFP, contrasting the minor islands that are tropical and protected spaces where flora and fauna grow in peace. Most of the islands have sunk below the Splishkrix by 1 AFP.Splishkrix

A year is 420 Typical days, a Typical Year, and is divided into 12 months made up of 35 days each.
Fauna & Flora
Nods are the apex species of the planet. Nodum is also the only planet to naturally house Nods. A majority of the species that survived alongside Nods were aquatic and lived in Splishkirx or some of the smaller lakes on Eakrix.
In the Splishkrix Ocean, the Krixtooth Whale is the dominant creature. Their intelligence rivals that of the surface Nods, though they stay mostly out of the affairs of the land-folk as long as they share the same respect with the oceans, with the exception of the Grey Krixtooth.
History
Nods have lived on, and dominated, Nodum for 25,000 years before they developed the technology to leave the planet.
The 2nd largest population centre and future global capital, Agi Saffkrix, was founded 11.33.7770 by Agi the Greatest.
Nods often fought wars amongst themselves, having divided the planet into countries throughout its history, before form a single, unified federation, the One Nodum Government, on 7.1.4150 BFP. The ONG led the Nods into a golden age of planetary development that lasted just over 1000 years before they finally were able to produce colony ships able to travel farther than the Twin Moons of Nodum, Seren and Tiann.
An 11 year conflict called the Battle of Nodum, fought between the Alliance of Prosperous Societies and a coalition consisting of the Lunar Colony Association and Combined Colonies of Sheekrix as part of the larger War of Devastation, rendered most of Nodum uninhabitable save for a few places in the Isles of Eamit and deep below Splishkrix.
