Nodum System (Know-Dum)
Geography
The Nodum System consisted of 4 planets all surrounding a single K5V orange dwarf sun, Saff Sheekrix. An asteroid belt orbits beyond the last planet.
Owta is the nearest planet to Saff Sheekrix, and the most recently discovered. It was first theorized in 11241 BFP before being fully discovered by East Agium astronomer Owta eaPovi in 4510 BFP. He followed in the conventions of the Aginod Guild of Astronomers by naming the first planet he discovered after himself.
Segen was the 2nd planet discovered, and is the second closest to Saff Sheekrix. It is barren and rocky, similarly to it's nearby sister Owta. Segen was discovered by, and named for, Aginod Astronomer Segen eaRuv in 4596 BFP.
Nupra, named for the wife of the semi-mythical nod hero Kamich, was discovered in 5620 by Eakamich Prince and amatuer astronomer Piya XI. It was the first planet colonized by the ONG in 3041 due to its proximity and similar features to Nodum.

Nodum is the 4th and only natively habited planet in the Nodum System. It is the home planet of the Nod species, and the capital of the Alliance of Prosperous Societies from 2011 BFP to 455 BFP, when it was nearly destroyed following the Battle of Nodum. Nodum has two moons, Tiann and Seren.

The Nodum System was the home system of the Nod and Krixtooth species.
The Nods first left Nodum and colonized their moons and neighbouring planet of Nupra between 3050 and 3040 BFP. They left the system for the first time in 3001 BFP.
It was the capital system for the Alliance of Prosperous Societies.
The planet of Nodum was nearly destroyed following the 11 year Battle of Nodum between 466 and 455 BFP.
