Kingdom

A kingedom is the first and highest rank of government. Comparable to a empire, the king or queen is the highest point of authority within Corondor.

Qualifications

In Corondor, to be the King or Queen you have to be a part of House Tandor'thal. Like all other parts of government in Corondor, the kingdom is passed down to the eldest child regardless of gender. The princes and princess are trained to manage the kingdom in government and in war.

Duties

The king or queen is trained to manage the entire kingdom. They command armies, act as the final judge in all legal matters, maintain peace, and oversee administration throughout the realm. They oversee the realm's financies, infrastructure, and supply chains. While power is decentralized with the autonomy of the paramouncies, the king or queen still has overwhelming authority and the ability to enact change as he they see fit.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

There is no grounds where a king or queen can be dismissed legally. However, there are cases of rebellion in Corondor where kings or queens have been overthrown.
