Arendar Pass

This pass through the Gray mountains connects the Karmin Plain with the Faroo Basin. The Pass is about a mile wide and contains woods and meadows. The altitude of the pass starts at about 500 feet above sea level at the southern end and rises to 2500 feet where it exits into the Faroo Basin. The White River, a tributary of the River Karm, runs north to south along the western side of the pass through a deep ravine. The the east of the river is a relatively flat slowly rising shelf of land. The only road through the pass runs right along the western edge of the the ravine.

Fauna & Flora

The pass has a mixture of evergreen forest and clusters of decidious trees at lower altitudes with tall grass in its many meadows. Deer, mountains goats, wolves and bears are all known to wander the pass. Bands of Naarmen also wander into the pass on occasion looking for prey.

Natural Resources

The pass is a good source of lumber and also provides good grazing opportunities during the warmer months.
