Physical Description

General Physical Condition

As an Angelic being that has ascended into Risen Godhood, Sahariel possesses divine health, stamina, strength, and power. Her body, even moreso as an Angel, is the divine image of beauty and perfection, pure beyond measure, and in incredibly shape. She is muscular and fit while still being beautiful, and often seems to change in appearance slightly depending on who she is being viewed by - though this simple cosmetic illusion is much smaller in scope than what some other creatures may possess(Akin to subtle alterations rather than wholesale changes of appearance).

Body Features

Her skin is akin to shining silver, as if she were a metal statue carved from a solid silver mass...though she sometimes wills her skin to become a more mortal coloration to soothe her flock. Her hair shines like gleaming Platinum or Bronze as well, as if carved into solid strands of metal.
Even more notable are her six shining, beautifully white-feathered wings...symbol of her former status as a Solar Angel with power beyond compare, they are fluffy and beautiful, each feather shining with a gentle silver light that calms and reassures.

Her face is beautiful and well-proportioned, and her skin is flawless and without blemish.

Identifying Characteristics

Her shining silver skin and bronze-auburn hair set her apart from almost every other creature, and her divine aura, unnatural size, and beautiful appearance make her utterly unable to be missed and wholly unique.
Even more notable are her six shining, beautifully white-feathered wings...symbol of her former status as a Solar Angel with power beyond compare, they are fluffy and beautiful, each feather shining with a gentle golden light that calms and reassures.

Physical quirks

With her massive feathery wings, she tends to wrap them around herself like a giant feather cloak when she needs to conserve space, otherwise she extends them fully and lets them breathe. Beyond her abnormal size(Which she goes to great lengths to keep from being a nuisance to those around her), her scent is perhaps the most notable of her physical quirks - though it is often described differently by each who meets her in person, each describes it as universally transcendent; an experience so divine that it borders on transformative, capable of inspiring artists to mania, evoking images of long-forgotten memories or lovers, or countless other strange and supernaturally effects.
Indeed, so sought after is this scent that many have pestered her quite constantly to release her own perfume that others may buy it - a prospect which she has done on a handful of occasions to reward various followers or to raise money for certain charitable causes, each a limited run of goods that has inspired a near revolutionary uproar in the city of Sahar when it hits the open markets.

Special abilities

Equipped with a truly massive array of magical abilities due to her nature as a Solar Angel alongside truly unbeatable martial prowess, Sahariel is a fearsome creature even before her ascension to Risen Godhood - afterwards, however, her powers have only increased exponentionally such that she has often proven capable of swinging far, far above her "Divine Weight Class" such that she has managed to easily trounce beings such as Tamamo-No-Mae(Who later ascended into Major Godhood) with little to no difficulty.
On top of these battle abilities, Sahariel is possessed of a divine charisma so blindingly intense that unless she is careful with her words, she can accidentally compel creatures into action against their own will and completely rewrite their thoughts and minds with but a single phrase - a power that seems to have sprung into existence rather suddenly long after the city of Sahar was founded and her flock had truly come into its own, for reasons that have never been conclusively determined. However, she herself dislikes this power as a rather public point and has gone to great lengths to ensure her flock are not troubled by its existence nor worried that she has or will use it upon them.
And finally, as she is easily twice as tall as other Solars, towering over normal mortals as a gleaming silver Goddess, she is nearly twice as physically capable as the mightiest of her angelic brethren - as well as, incredibly, so physically and magically resilient that many believe her to be truly invulnerable. Had she the inclination, she is so strong she could tear a Pit Fiend in half with her bare hands, fend off the whip of a Balor with her bare skin, and dodge an arrow fired from an Empyreal Lord before it could harm her.

Though she prefers to wear her armor when at all possible, Sahariel's casual clothing changes frequently depending on the fashion trends currently popular in the city of Sahar which can often range from fashions popular in various cities or kingdoms in the Materia Sphere to even the current fashions of places in the Outer Planes such as Malefacta and beyond. As such, her outfits tend to change(And often inspire new fashion trends in Sahar when she makes appearances) quite frequently - one day she may favor tight-fitting outfits that showcase her femininity while on others preferring loose-fitting gowns and chitons that provide a more elegant, refined appearance.
She tends to wear little in the way of makeup(As it simply refuses to stick to her metallic body), but often wears a tasteful array of earrings, rings, necklaces, and more often given to her from various suitors or as tribute by visitors or new citizens to Sahar - many of which are made of the finest metals and gemstones across the Cosmos, and some of which were gifted to her by even dangerous and normally fearsome beings(Most notably one of the Horsemen of Gehenna, a Demon Lord, and a handful of Archdukes of Malefacta).

Specialized Equipment

When she enters battle, Sahariel boasts a truly fearsome panoply - wearing a suit of silver Full Platemail armor crafted for her by the finest smiths in all of Archainus(Whose designs boasts of victories across the Cosmos) as well as an enormous Halberd(Or Starknife, depending on the battle) which glows with a beautiful Gold-Silver light - each of which is supplemented by a vast array of magical items of fanastic power that, when all combined, make her a force of battle potent enough to fight the mightiest Outsiders on equal footing. Indeed, so might is she on the field of battle that many of her followers in the city of Sahar jokingly refer to her as "The Fifth Legion" - a joke that refers to Sahar's military, comprised of four legions tasked with civic guard and external defense. Reputed to be able to form a mighty warbow from angelic light when the need arises, Sahariel is all told a veritable walking batallion all unto herself - equipped to handle nearly any scenario in any environment.

Much of Sahariel's history before the founding of Sahar is a complete and utter mystery that has long enraptured her enemies and allies alike - what her history might have been that she could have, at the day of the Living City's completion, commanded the total obedience and utter loyalty of both Pit Fiends, Balors, and mighty Hinnom is a mystery that baffles scholars of the Cosmos to this very day. Rumors often fly about her relationships with the other Planes of Existence, especially her homeland of Archainus, but little has ever been proven - though it seems to be a fairly forgone conclusion that is widely considered to be factual that, for some reason, Sahariel herself seems unwilling or unable to return to her home plane.
In addition, as perhaps the only other clue as to her history, Sahariel seems to be an object of extreme obsession or fascination to Asmodeus, The Archfiend to a degree that seems incredibly unusual for a being as careful and scheming as him; as he has repeatedly demonstrated an urgency in his attacks or invasions against Sahar or in his attempts to kill or capture Sahariel herself that speak to some sort of highly unusual relationship between the two that may well speak to why Sahariel so rarely leaves her Living City...

Though her accomplishments before founding the city of Sahar are utterly unknown, she has ruled it in the thousand years since with wisdom and sagacity.
She has also consistently outplayed and outmaneuvered both Tamamo-No-Mae and Asmodeus, The Archfiend - both feats in their own right - and has even once defeated the former before her ascension to Major Godhood.
There are even rumors that Sahariel fended off an attack by Tamamo-No-Mae after her ascension to Major Godhood(And may have even humiliated her somehow after her victory) during the Age of Troubles which saw Gods descend to the Materia Sphere to war and fight - though this rumor has yet to be proven one way or another it has proven oddly consistent and resilient over the years; a fact which points to a hint of truth in it to many.

Like many angels, Sahariel is a veritable walking library - having studied for potentially centuries of eons in the gilded, glowing halls of Archainus studying nearly every available subject in all of creation, Sahariel is an intellectual of the most refined and most complete kind; She eagerly welcomes any chance to learn or be taught in a newer, better way, and often happily listens to others who claim to know things she does not - a natural learner through and through in a way that many other Angels are not due to their Egos.

Morality & Philosophy

Sahariel's morality is undoubtedly good and lawful, but focuses primarily on equality and hard work - she cares little for what or who, but believes that each creature, equal before the eyes of the Heavens, is capable of both good and evil and given time can redeem themselves of nearly any sin.
So long as one works hard, she believes in eagerly supporting them - meeting genuine effort with genuine praise, and believing that no hard earned deed should go unrewarded. Above all, she teaches a much more pragmatic and grounded view of goodness that often revolves around completely eschewing the typical teachings of Celestials - instead of focusing on places or groups, Sahariel teaches her followers that all one needs to do to become "good" or "angelic"(Which she uses in the descriptive term, not to refer to the species she is a member of) is to behold the natural beauty of the cosmos and understand it; all else, she believes will come in due time.
It is precisely due to these beliefs that earned her the unique right of being the Risen Goddess of Vistas - of Sunsets, Mountains, Flowers, and so on - due to her teachings which preach that any who travel to such places, whose beauty is the closest one can get in all the cosmos to true Heavenly Beauty, and understand them will gradually transform their body and mind into a state of celestial ascendence. Above all, Sahariel seems to desire uniting all Outsiders together under one banner above all else - to make them a unified people who can exist as Mortals do, alongside each other.

Sahariel stands as a shining example of the Virtues of all that is Good and Lawful in the Cosmos - a being literally comprised of the Lawful and Good essences of the world, she is as patient, gentle, and kind as one might expect from such a creature; fulling believing that any being is capable of redeeming themselves for past transgression and that all creatures have it in their hearts to be truly good, she has nothing but love and compassion for all creatures of the cosmos - and not merely Mortalkind, as is common a sentiment for many Angels to have. No, Sahariel is a far cry from her angelic brethren - she considers all beings, even the likes of Devils and Demons, as little more than people too; people that, in her eyes, have just as much potential for change as others and sometimes even moreso.
Her love seemingly infinite, Sahariel sees the best in others and always believes in helping others achieve that 'best' she sees in them - she is always quick to try words and diplomacy before resorting to violence, and never considers a foe too far gone to redeem, to hear out, or to give a second chance. She does not rile in conversation, listens to any who say they know better than her, happily debates even her worst and most diametrically opposed enemies on matters of goodness and philosophy, and would help anyone so long as they are dedicated to helping themselves in the same manner. However, even in such goodness, she shines tall - never one for naive belief, Sahariel firmly believes in helping only those who prove their desire to be better; she gives no free rides to others and demands that they demonstrate and work towards changing or improving themselves or towards a task or goal they yearn for or care about before she will support them and their interests.
Yet, even then, her mercy does not end - for those who have lost a purpose or who are desperate for a sense of meaning, Sahariel is always quick to become that purpose for such beings; allowing them to serve her and devote themselves to her to feel wanted and needed. In this way, she is truly motherly - and in this way, does her virtues truly shine through as those which have won her the significant following she has today.

Though her own followers are adamant about her lack of such things(And thus keep a tight lid on anything that could be anything remotely like a flaw or vice), one rumor has popped up consistently amongst those who investigate Sahariel or anything related to her - rumors that paint the Angel of Flowers and her motherly persona as being a tad more controlling than one may initially believe; that the famously patient and peace-loving Angel of Flowers so renowned for her patience and wisdom might, in truth, possess more of an Ego than one might initially suspect - that she controls her followers, sees them as lesser, and governs them like a tyrannical mother might her children - that her glorious "unity" is all a lie built upon her own secret dominion over her followers who obey her without hesitation via sinister means of control...though of course, such rumors have never been proven.
And indeed, one might even discredit these rumors as baseless conjecture spoken of to slander the great Angel of Flowers by those whom she has scorned in her lifetime or those who are perhaps jealous or spiteful due to some past or perceived transgression - yet the rumors persist all the same.

Personality Quirks

All in all, Sahariel is an extremely physical woman - often touching, hugging, or otherwise embracing those she talks to or interacts with as naturally as others may breath. Holding others in her wings to comfort them, caressing those who meet her, and standing perhaps a tad too close - all these and more are common things one may encounter when speaking to Sahariel, who seems to have little concept of personal space. And, perhaps unintentionally, this often serves to only deepen the imposing, motherly image many form of her consider her height and demeanor - which often sees her bending over to properly address those she is speaking to at a proximity close enough for others to smell every hint and distinct note of her natural scent(Which is often said to vary from day to day depending on her mood).

Though she is not exactly a Goddess of cleanliness, Sahariel is nonetheless a Goddess of flowers and other natural vistas and an Angel to boot - and is as immaculate and clean as one may expect from such a being. Though she is clearly capable of becoming dirty, it rarely sticks to her - meaning she often appears as the very image of purity and cleanliness wherever she goes.
Additionally, as the Angel of Flowers, she is said to have a natural scent so utterly transcendant that to merely behold it can often soothe an ailing soul or comfort a wounded mind.

Sahariel has reigned, utterly invincible, over the city of Sahar ever since its founding over 1,000 years ago - the sole monarch of the living city that responds to her will and her will alone. She has overseen its construction and continued expansion and has defended it personally from assaults originating from all across the Cosmos ranging from threats in Archainus to Malefacta and everywhere in between, each of whom attacked the Living City seeking to claim its treasures as their own and punish the Outsiders who gathered there under her banner for their transgressions against their home planes...although the forces of Malefacta under Asmodeus, The Archfiend have historically been the most interested and dedicated to attacking the city for reasons that are yet unclear.

Contacts & Relations

Despite her nature as an Angel - and one of the legendarily powerful Solar breed of Angels at that - Sahariel has seemingly little in the way of contacts across the cosmology of Ea; as if she simply sprang into existence alongside the founding of Sahar a thousand years ago. Despite this, the fear she commands is categorically immense - almost disturbingly so - amongst many denizens of the Outer Planes for reasons that can easily be understood when one observes the nature of her followers: hordes of Outsiders of all kinds, from the strongest Balors and Pit Fiends and Angels to the lowliest detches and imps - all of them, having renounced their Planes of Origin and sworn themselves to the Angel of Flowers, pose a near-existential threat to the current order of the cosmos; a new ideology of unity that threatens to upend the "Cold War" the forces of Good and Evil and Law and Chaos have fallen into since the dawn of creation.
As such, there are comparatively few who do not know of Sahariel or her policies - many of whom would more than likely enjoy tearing her limb from limb(A thought shared, ironically, by many Outsiders both Good and Evil). Those who do not fear her, however, love her beyond measure - making her a very polarizing figure despite how rarely she ever truly leaves her city of Sahar.
She is perhaps a bit less well-known within the Materia Sphere - where she is known more as a curious oddity and minor deity than a true, fearsome Outsider of unknown origins whose ideologies threaten to upend the very cosmos. Most famously, Tamamo-No-Mae is well-documented as despising her, and constantly seeks to find her city of Sahar, hidden by Sahariel's divine power, and destroy it to claim the riches and power hidden within - and perhaps, more personally, to destroy a Goddess she sees as an upstart who dared to offend her one too many times.

Family Ties

As an angel, she has no true blood-related family such as parents or brothers or sisters - though she is viewed as a mother by many of her followers both Outsider and Mortal, and does little to discourage such thinking, the facts remain that as an Angel she is incapable of having family of any kind.

Religious Views

Though she is undeniably an Angel born of the goodly and lawful energies of Archainus, Sahariel seems to be at times almost at odds with the Angels and Archons in charge of the plane - believing in a more broad concept of "good" that seems to transcend Planes of Existence and even Cosmic Concepts, Sahariel is a dangerous and rare figure amongst the Outsiders of the cosmology of Ea due to her extreme intelligence and disregard for traditionally established concepts such as Good and Evil; the cosmic struggles between Good and Evil, to her, are of little consequence - meaning that if there is a chance to teach a foe or help them or herself understand each other better, she will not hesitate to do so - a trait which is a rarity amongst the Angels of Archainus and almost unheard of amongst the Archons of Archainus.
This alone makes her dangerous beyond measure to the established orders of the Cosmos - a being whose religious and idealogical beliefs, if brought to fruition, would likely spell the doom of every established force of Good and Evil in the entire cosmology. She is humble, holds herself in no special esteem, and is always willing to learn from another - even if that "other" is a Demon of such vile chaos and evil that other Angels would slay them on sight.
Despite this, she has a very clear idea of "good" and works tirelessly to achieve it in all aspects of her life.

Social Aptitude

Humble and charismatic, Sahariel is supernaturally charming as any Cosmic Being of Good can possibly be - possessing an overwhelming force of personality and charisma typically reserved for divine beings, she is overwhelmingly beautiful and possesses a gentle, kindhearted demeanor that allows her to speak equally with nearly any creature. At the core of her social aptitude and perhaps one of the reasons for her overwhelming number of converts among Outsiders is the simple, frank demeanor with which she speaks - she speaks without Ego, treats no creature as greater or lesser than another, and speaks to each creature as a true and utter equal.
Patient beyond measure, she is a natural leader and talented commander who earns the respect of those she speaks to by treating them fairly and judging them by no biases or preconcieved notions - even respect, normally demanded by other beings of her stature, is but a passing trifle to her so long as one speaks in earnest and with true conviction. Yet, rather famously, she is almost infamous for the suddenness with which she can shift into a truly ferocious anger when insulted, threatened, or when one under her care is put in danger - a part of her nature which often earns her respect amongst mortals, demons, and devils alike.

She is very still when she speaks, opposite to most 'animated' speakers. She smiles and uses facial expressions at most when talking to convey what she's feeling or saying, but she rarely gestures while talking - she is overally quite motherly in her demeanor, but can be truly and utterly ferocious(Borderline sadistic) when something or someone draws or provokes her Ire.

Speech

As a Solar, one of the mightiest of Angelkind, Sahariel's voice is a strong, commanding voice that is impossible to ignore. Her voice is rich, beautiful, melodic, baritone, and layered as if an entire divine choir spoke in angelic harmony with each word she speaks...her voice is smooth and gentle enough that it can often ease even the most troubled of hearts, calm the most enraged souls, and can even wrap up others who hear her in its melodic tones, easing their minds and relaxing their bodies to better receive her teachings.
So alluring is her voice, so divinely charismatic, that commands or simple statements can, even if she does not intend for them to, be a divine command to those who hear it and force them against their will to do as she says. Creatures so affected, it is said, often do not even come to hate her control over them...they welcome her command gladly, and happily embrace her words as the absolute truth until such a time as her words fade and she returns their free will back to them. This overwhelming persuasion is attributed to the natural charisma of Solars that has been bolstered and augmented by her ascension to Godhood in such a way that it mutated and became a terrifyingly powerful ability fitting for her new divine might - though one she seldom uses unless she is truly furious and often takes great care to avoid triggering unintentionally; a trait which many believe has led to her softspoken tone and nature.

Though the specifics of her life before the founding of Sahar a thousand year ago aren't known, Sahariel's life before Sahar was clearly a lucrative one judging from the trophies she keeps on her person and in her vaults - many of which were claimed from places ranging from the deepest pits of Malefacta to the depths of Gehenna to the shores of Archainus and more; all relics which tell of a history full of prestige and power beyond even an Angel's wildest dreams. Ever since she founded the city of Sahar and became its sole monarch and mistress, mortals and outsiders alike have utterly showered her with gifts of all kinds - making the act of offering up one's items and belongings save for the essentials to her upon taking residence in the city as a custom designed to show one's gratitute and humility to the Mistress of Sahar; even those visiting are encouraged to donate at least one item of value to show thanks. As such, her wealth has ballooned to an utterly ludicrous level - though she herself often downplays the exact size of her personal wealth and goes to length to avoid being seen as gaudy or gauche, preferring tastefully elegent yet not overindulgent clothing and jewelry.
Part of the reason for the almost fanatical devotion with which her citizens heap their worldly possessions at her angelic feet is her own reticence in using such gifts - oftentimes simply returning the items to their owners or bestowing them upon others who are in need of them in "loans" that are for all intents and purposes gifts in all but name, meaning those who gift her their belongings are often secure in the knowledge that not only have they demonstrated their humility, but that such items will be given to those who have earned her favor or are truly in need.
