The Change

When some of the most powerful sorcerers of the Tharaoh Sorcerers used too much magic, they draw too much power that they underwent a backlash. Their power wrapped them up into a cocoon, with a hard impenetrable shell. A month or two later, it would break open and a Feylinn would emerge. The sorcerer had undergone a massive transformation, and no longer remembered their previous lives. They would be elemental type beings, who would retreat to the wild places. Wildlife would be drawn to them. When they walk, plant-life grows around their feet, then die as they raise their foot.
Some of the most powerful Enchanters in the Tjidarian-Avalinon War also fell victim to this transformation.
