The Hospital usually becomes familiar to every new member of The Royal Society Publishing sooner or later. It is the backbone of The Royal Society Publishing, because a healthy worker is a happy worker! For the needy, the Hospital ward is always open. If The Royal Society Publishing has gotten disgruntled complaints about bureaucracy and how it makes things slower, the hospital ward is something completely else: efficient and fast.
Purpose / Function
To take care of The Royal Society Publishing's workers, especially when things happen during work shifts. From vampire bites to Time Sickness, everything work related will be treated here. They are also experts in magical healing and know how to treat all kinds of anomalies, blessings, curses, and other magical incidents. Also, mental health services are offered in The Hospital Wing. And, all of this free of charge, as it is one of the job's perks. Especially those in The Magical Beasts Department of The Royal Society Publishing in London tend to use the services often.
Alterations
The Ward has been refurbished ever so often when technological advancement has so demanded. It has its own small intensive unit and most of the finest facilities of normal hospital, despite its rather small size. Some more obscure equipment and services are bought from 'normal' operators.
History
History of the Hospital ward is probably as old as the history of the Royal Society itself. There's always been someone to get hurt and someone else to heal them, with magical and mundane means.
