Krajiik

Krajiik was an Efreeti and former lord over genies over the Elemental Plane of Fire. In the year 4450, however, she was involved in the events that led to the return of Pharaoh Kana-Ra.

History

Early Life

Krajiik, like most elementals and genies, spawned on the plane of fire due to the magical confluences. Unlike other genies, however, she was blessed with a greater source of magic over herself, being able to bend reality in the plane to her whim. She was thus deemed a "genie lord", as well as a few others like Malak. She ruled over a part of the elemental plane of fire opposed to Malak, seeking to make his life horrible. Krajiik thus grew in vanity and lust for power, and soon sought to rule the mortal realm of Talamh.   In the times leading up to the growth of her power, the pharaoh Kana-Ra began to consort with her rival Malak. She thus led an effort against Kana-Ra through some opposing wizards to the pharaoh's rule, trying to bring ablaze his entire kingdom. In retaliation, the powerful Pharaoh cast a spell on Krajiik, capturing her into a silver ring and forcing her to do his bidding as well. Evidently, when Kana-Ra was eventually defeated, the great mages took the ring and kept it to themselves, using Krajiik to grant wishes.   In 4440, the ring was however looted during the midst of the First Crusade, being taken by a crusader named Kelros after slaying an opposing Tamayan war mage. Kelros used Krajiik as a good master, promising to return her to the elemental plane of fire if she had helped the crusaders win the war. Krajiik thus used her magic to turn the tide in the favor of the crusaders, winning the city of Karkdun for them. However, soon after this the ring was stolen off Kelros and taken by a rakshasa named Ardeth, who had other plans with Krajiik much to her dismay.

Events of '1001 Tamayan Nights'

Ardeth began searching for the Immortal Stone which was used to bind Pharaoh Kana-Ra. He eventually found the Cave of Greed in 4450, but his efforts were stopped by five adventurers and the ring was stolen by a tabaxi monk named Chufumasa. Ardeth fled, and Krajiik, much to her dismay, was once again given a new master. She planned to manipulate him, but soon learned the adventurers were made enemies of Pharaoh Kana-Ra. She desired freedom from the ring to deal with the pharaoh herself.   However, the kindness of Chufumasa took her off guard, who for once in two thousand years asked her how she was feeling. She explained to him the awfulness of being trapped in the ring, and how she wanted her freedom.
