The Emerald War
The Conflict
Prelude
Falcresti settlers along the Emerald Sea began pushing inland to harvest lumber, which brought them into contact with Dunmaer tribal groups living in the area. The conflicts that followed saw multiple encounters resulting in Dunmaer being slaughtered and burned to the ground. On the 3rd day of Deitran, 1524, Falcresti citizens from Vicante raided a Dunmaer burial site and took numerous artifacts and remains to be interred in a museum in Ubressa. On the 15th day of Levelan, the Dunmaer responded with a nighttime raid against Vicante, killing all the villagers. A merchant schooner arrived at the site of the massacre on the 20th day of Levelan, returning to Ubressa on the 35th day of Levelan to report the news. Twelve days later, on the 7th day of Porosan, five Falcresti galleons loaded with over five-hundred troops sailed for the Emerald Coast.
