Edmonde Froste is the Count of County Virdain in the Kingdom of Falcrest and patron of the Froste Family.

Motivation
Edmonde is motivated by the desire to see the people of County Virdain prosper. While he pledges fealty to the King of Falcrest, he is not above advancing the people of his county above those of Falcrest.

Edmonde has multiple contacts throughout Omath and Orela. He is a man that pays well to ensure access to powerful people and organizations, and as such has an in with most political groups, organizations, and even religions.
Officially, Edmonde has no affiliations outside of his duties to the crown of Falcrest, but rumor and speculation have named him a member (if not the leader) of dark cults, of secret societies, and more.

Froste respects the concepts of religion, though he follows no particular deity himself. He sees the effects that faith and religion have among the people of Solia, and finds ways to utilize that.

Virdain Manor, also known as Froste Manor, is included in his personal wealth and resources as a gift from Zachariah Falle I, the first king of Falcrest. He owns several vineyards south of County Virdain and west of Ubressa, private investments that he maintains outside of his title within Falcrest.
A small fleet of ten merchant vessels owned by Froste sail from Ubressa and ports along the southern coast of Omath, typically plying trade in continental waters. It has been said that Edmonde has a keen eye for trade and demand, while rumors speculate that he actually influences the demand somehow.
