Personal history
Samuel Tront, first of his name was born in the month of Julias of the year 1167 of the Third Age. Samuel is the third child of High King Rean Tront the Third and Erica Darnet. By his eighth birthday, Samuel's eldest brother Maxwell Tront was killed in battle during the start of the rebellion of Farhold. This sudden and unexpected loss drove Samuel to the battlefield. Initially, Samuel told his father and Commanding Officer that his reasons for join the Army was to ensure the safety of his Country and ally, but the truth of it was far deeper. Samuel wanted to find his brother's killer and run him through. Though, Samuel never found the man who killed his brother, he did prove his merit as not only a great military leader, but that of being the next crowned heir of Dragton.
On the 1193rd year of the Third Age, Samuel was crowned as High King of the Dragtonian Kingdom after his father, Rean Tront the Third, died.
As Dragton’s next High King, Samuel helped broker a truce for the City-State of Farhold and the Nomadic Rebels. For the next few years, Samuel’s rule as High King remained rather quite until the year 3A-1199 when Arcadian soldiers invaded, laying siege to the City of Fydale and sacking the village of Cornwall. This action later became known as the ‘Sapphire Conflict’.
Initial fight of Sapphire Conflict continued for nearly five years until Dragtonian forces chased the armies of Arcadia back across the border. After which, the Sapphire Conflict became mostly political with an occasional skirmish breaking out until it officially ended in 3A-1217 when Samuel and Emperor Calixtus Durant signed a peace treaty.
In the years that followed, Samuel faced many hardships in both his rule and in his life. It all start when his and chief bodyguard, Knight-Commander Richard Campbell, was killed. Growing rumors of revolt began to stir. A rift also formed between him and his son, Prince Brandon, after Brandon decided to take a commoner as his bride. A union Samuel continuously refused to bless. It wasn’t long afterwards that he fell ill from a weakened heart.
Due to his illness, Samuel grew increasingly paranoid and after a Nomadic witch told him that his death would come soon by the hands of a Magic User. In hopes of changing his doomed fate, Samuel decided to outlaw all forms of magic. This course of action did not sit well with some people and as a result, started a rebellion against the Kingdom.
Samuel died some months later on the third of Augustus, 3A-1235, having finally succumb to his heart condition.

Education

Employment
Though he didn’t have to, Samuel joined the military to avenge his brother’s death. He had a relatively successful career and is quick to talk about it but he did step back and fall in line as the High King of his kingdom.
Accomplishments & Achievements
One of the most important accomplishments in Samuel’s life is the truce he helped broker. It was something that no one but him could have accomplished – or so he said.
Failures & Embarrassments
Admittedly, he didn’t consider it a failure but the phobia and fear that came from his heart condition is high on the list of embarrassing things. He didn’t even acknowledge the fear of magic users as a weakness but it absolutely was. Another failure might have been not locating his brother’s killer.

He was an intelligent man in general.
Morality & Philosophy
Samuel’s morality centered around survival. His survival, his family’s survival, and the survival of his kingdom. If his actions are driven by this morality, he believes them to be moral in themselves.
