Personal history
Kaitlyn was born to Samuel and Mira Tront, the High King and Queen of Dragton, in 3A-1213. After the birth of herself and her twin sister, Khloe, her mother passed away from complications in the delivery process. She always wished that she got to know her mother, but in her youth held some resentment towards her. She and her sister both felt a strong responsibility from a young age to embody the spirit of their mother, even though they never knew her.
Growing up, Kaitlyn and her sister were inseparable. They were identical aside from the color of their hair, and since their names were so similar, they were often mistaken for one another. They had fun with that when they were young, but as they grew up and developed their own personalities, they began to resent the implication that they were the same person. Their father was distant, mostly paying attention to the kingdom and to their older brother, but Kaitlyn was especially close with her older brother, Brandon.
Kaitlyn was always fascinated by the theater growing up, and would make her sister and brother put on plays with her. It was clear from a young age that she was very talented, but her father wouldn’t hear of her perusing acting, considering it beneath her station. Kaitlyn hated being a princess, and always wanted to transform into something else. Acting was her way to do this.
When she was 19, she snuck out of the castle dressed in common clothes, and made her way to Florin’s Theater of Amanda. Her talent and passion were quickly recognized, and she began preforming behind her father’s back. The only person she told was Brandon. She was discovered by a guard, when her sister realized what she was doing, and gave up her claim to royalty to continue to pursue acting. She has never regretted this decision. She only regrets the loss of her relationship with her sister.
