Tarshir

Humans who came under the rule of Torohnuq. Torohnuq's rule did not last, and the high priests and great warriors hungered for the power of their Runaric god, Torohnuq, and during a sacrificial ceremony they tricked Torohnuq, slew him, and devoured him, and they became demigod Reliqus. This fractured society, and wars ravaged the lands for generations until some of the Reliqus formed a pantheon together and formed a great empire around themselves. It is said that Torohnuq was a tyrannical ruler, and that the Reliqus who followed him inherited this trait.
To this day, western Murajaad is a land rife with war; despite the Tarshir Empire appearing as a united and stable entity, the cults of the Reliqus continue to vie for power and control. The Tarshir Empire's capital harvests Tar which is imbued with the lingering essence of Ashurnuq, and whoever controls the capital has access to immense wealth that this brings.

Tarshir have multiple dark, inky patches on their bodies. The more random the marks, the less appealing a Tarshir is deemed. To have marks that consistently cover body parts, such as a forearm, a lower leg, or a shoulder, is considered attractive and, in some cults, sacred. They have innate skill in Invocation Magic and tend to be susceptible to cold temperatures. Due to their aggressive culture, Tarshir are known for having highly persuasive personalities, and they are often feared by neighbouring peoples.
