Her Carriers

Her Carriers are an order of Erwilen who live in the Pollen Sea. They carry away any who die in this area to the Fleshweald, to the same place where Alaiea sacrificed herself as a life source, bringing about a new age of seasons on Ebdypha's Young World. It is not known what happens to the dead after they are taken to the Fleshweald, as all of Her Carriers are bound by an ancient pact and sworn to secrecy, and their tongues are removed. All that is known is that they always return with a good supply of Ephemora. The Fleshweald itself also does not give up its own secrets, as anyone who tries to enter the Fleshweald but is not one of Her Carriers is never heard from again.
