Ephemora

Ephemora is a magical pink perfume which is brought back from the Fleshweald each time Her Carriers carry the dead there. The perfume shimmers brilliantly in light, has a very rich and alluring fragrance, and has uses aside from simply being applied as a perfume, such as aiding in medicine, bringing on sleep, pacifying animals, warding against dark spirits, detecting poisons, and being used in special lanterns to produce a soft pink sweet-smelling light source. Ephemora lanterns are always carried by Her Carriers, but are also lit to commemorate Alaiea herself and acknowledge her sacrifice.
