Alaiea

Alaeia was a Runar of Cuuhuina.

After Cuuhuina died during the Enlightenment, the Runar Alaiea and Halamera wanted to leave the Sunken Forest. Alaiea took her followers called the Erwilen and sailed west, settling in a new valley and upholding Cuuhuina's love of nature in her memory.

This valley did not sustain life well, but the Erwilens could travel no further. They lived here for an entire age before Alaiea eventually offered herself as a life source for their new land, and so some of the Erwilens went with her into the nearby mountains to a place known as the Fleshweald. Many months passed before they descended again. Alaiea was not among them. But rains soon came, and the greenery began to grow. Within only one generation, the lands were covered in lush meadows and forests, and so potent was Alaeia's power that the Erwilens themselves did not suffer the pains of growing old as other humans do. This act is believed to have brought about a new age on Ebdypha's Young World. To this day, Her Carriers continue her legacy.
