Naming Traditions

Names like Thallan Admoira, or Halueth Omadove for the men, and Vestele Quisatra and Solana Iarrora for the women were common among the elves until the trees of Family got protégé. After this event, it became more common to choose names like the other Eldercrestarians.

History

The first elven tribes came to Eldercrest by 250 AF through a portal from another world. The portal is located beneath the current city of Emberwish, the home of the Elves and realm of the elven lords. Due to the conflicts of their own, the dark elves left Eldercrest and continued on south to Nivelia. The first encounter between the Eldercrestarians and the elves escalated to a full-scale war.
The Elven war were the elves fought for their right to dwell in the land alongside Eldercrestarians Continued for hundreds of years. And the only reason for the Elves never really got defeated by the superior Eldercrestarians were sorely based on the veterans of their soldiers and their connection to the first tree of Family located on top of the elven portal.
Frankly, the elven war ended in 350 AF, summer, with the peace in Berdco were the Eldercrestarian emperor Aglev promised to grant the Elves a noble status, and also rights to live in Eldercrest. it would still take hundreds of years before the trees of Family got protégé during the coronation of Emperor Agkil Swan in 685 AF, a friend to the elves.

This made it almost impossible for the elves to travel away from their given city Emberwish since their trees could be cut down in order to not let the elves gain influence in the Noble Council.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

Depending on how they act according to nature they act or think of them in a certain way. If they mine in the mountains, like the dwarfs, they don't like them at all, or burn the trees to maintain heat, as most of the Eldercrestarians do, they dislikes them and think they are above them in moral rank.
