Royal Zvaarian Guard
Ah yes, the Royal Zvaarian Guard. A military unit consisting of only the most pristine warriors found inside the Zvaarian lands. Vicious marauders, divination healers and elementalists alike, all serve one purpose: Protecting King and Queen Zvaaria.
Composition
Manpower
The current Royal Guard is made up of 110 patrolling magical beeings, most of them stationed around the main castle. Sixteen of them, however, are guarding the royalties chambers.
Equipment
Since most of the guards are of the Gold and Fated rank in their respective profession, they have already discovered their Personal Attributes and have specially tailored weapons which suit their combat style. All their equipment however, have a similar, yet distinctive design to them. They are all wooden/green colored and have the Zvaarian Banner on them.
Weaponry
Even though almost all the Royal Guards have their own custom made weapons, every one of them carries a beautifully crafted combat knife and a magical handkerchief with medicinal runes displayed on it.
Structure
The three commanders get their instructions directly from the royal couple and act accordingly. A commander generally is in charge of two or three squadron leaders, who each lead their team of around 10 - 15 guards.
Training
Most members of the Royal Guard is a specially nurtured talent which receives extra care and training from the Zvaarian military unit. Once one has proven themselves to be loyal and has earned reputation, they will rise up in the military ranks. Only the most efficient and pristine soliders make their way into the top 100, joining the Royal Guard.
Logistics
Upkeep
As a Royal Guard, the payment is definitely nothing to frown upon. Providing their families with a huge mansion and enough food to last for several months at a time, the soliders live a comfortable and prestigious life.
